That’s according to an analysis by personal finance website WalletHub.com based on 43 “key indicators of immorality” — from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to share of the population with gambling disorders.
The data was grouped into seven categories, and Utah finished in the top half (or is that bottom half?) for only one, ranking 25th for vanity among the 50 states.
In other categories, Utah ranked 31st for jealousy; 32nd for lust; 45th for anger and hatred; 47th for greed; and 50th for laziness among the 50 states.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Nevada is rated the most sinful state, followed by Florida, California, Texas and Tennessee.
