SALT LAKE CITY — Several former BYU players took to Twitter to show their support for the program's newest head coach, Mark Pope.
Pope was introduced as Dave Rose's replacement Wednesday, and a handful of BYU players who played under Rose shared their thoughts about the hire.
That included former Cougar big man Brandon Davies, who learned from Pope when he was an assistant at BYU from 2011-15, prior to serving as Utah Valley University's head coach the past four seasons.
