PROVO — BYU quarterback Tanner Mangum started slowly in last week’s loss at East Carolina but he finished strong.
In the fourth quarter, Mangum completed 16 of 25 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown.
Part of it was that ECU had a commanding lead and was playing soft in its coverage. But Mangum said he wants to be more aggressive the rest of the season like he was in that final quarter last Saturday.
“I’ve got to have that same mindset the whole game,” Mangum said. “I’ve got to be able to have the same attacking mentality throughout the entirety of the game.
