BYU sophomore linebacker Sione Takitaki, who sat out the first game of the season for disciplinary reasons stemming from an on-campus theft incident and was later suspended for the duration of the season for a violation of team rules, took to social media Tuesday to post an apparently positive message about his coach, Bronco Mendenhall.
The Instagram post, from the account taki2x, features a photo of Takitaki and Mendenhall and reads: "The best defense of coordinator in the nation. Thankful for everything he does for me."
He followed that up with the hashtags "#HesAskingMeIfIBeenSayingMyPrayers" and "#BigHoncho.
