LEHI — A suspect police believe to be involved in a shooting of a convenience store clerk early Saturday morning was barricaded inside a Lehi home that night.
Police had surrounded the home near 2900 W. 300 North at about 5 p.m. Lehi police confirmed that the suspect had a rifle.
Earlier Saturday, the convenience store clerk — a 39-year-old woman — was found by a customer with multiple gunshot wounds at Tesoro Fast Gas, 312 NW State shortly before 6:45 a.m., American For police said.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, but no information on her condition was immediately available, police said.
