The 38-year-old son reported the stabbing, which happened during a “domestic dispute” at 6:30 p.m. near 2700 South and 300 East, said South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller.
Police declared the 65-year-old man dead when they arrived at the apartment where the father and son lived together.
