Someone shattered car windows in South Jordan by firing steel ball bearings into traffic, possibly with a slingshot

Police are looking for someone who shot out the front passenger window of three cars by firing steel ball bearings into traffic on Wednesday night.

South Jordan police think the person used a slingshot to shoot the ball bearings into the car windows from the west side of Bangerter Highway, just north of the 11400 South intersection.

The intersection is currently under construction and there are no security cameras to pull footage from, so police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in question.
