Shots fired in West Valley City, police dispatcher reports at least one victim

Shots were fired at a location near 4100 South and Redwood Road in West Valley City on Wednesday afternoon.

Police scanner traffic mentioned “multiple victims.” A police dispatcher confirmed there was at least one victim.

At 2:02 p.m., scanner traffic indicted the suspect had been located near some apartments at 3860 S. Redwood Road.

An online dispatch log showed that reports of gunshots came from a Zions Bank in the area, as well as from a Smiths store.
