PROVO — The BYU Cougars overcame some costly turnovers and used a strong fourth quarter to knock off the Connecticut Huskies 30-13 at LaVell Edwards Stadium Friday night.
The Cougars scored 20 of the last 23 points to improve to 3-2 on the season and snap a two-game losing streak.

The Cougars got on the board first when Francis Bernard found a hole and scored from 1-yard for the 7-0 lead. One of the key plays on the drive came when Tanner Mangum found Terenn Houk for a 34-yard gain on second-and-8.
