Another year, another familiar result.
BYU kept things close in the first half, but turnovers and a punishing Utah running attack were too much too overcome as Utah beat BYU, 30-12.
Utah passed the ball 16 times and had 47 rushes, led by 188 yards on 29 carries from Zack Moss. Utah was up 9-6 at halftime, but came out in the second half and ran the ball down BYU’s throat to set the tone for the remainder of the game.
Zach Wilson finished 21/33 with two pick sixes, and Ty’Son Williams led BYU in rushing with 45 yards on 7 carries and 1 touchdown.
