Salt Lake City police arrest second man in connection with 16-year-old’s stabbing

Nicolas Nazario Espana, 28, was booked into Salt Lake County jail Wednesday on suspicion of killing 16-year-old Marcelino Johnson. His arrest follows that of Enrique Deloza, also 28, who was taken into custody Tuesday.

Deloza and Espana, police say, were arguing with three people near 1300 South and Main Street after midnight on Monday. The fight ended about two blocks south, on Kensington Avenue, where Johnson was stabbed in the torso.

Surveillance video filmed near the scene shows two men walking off with Johnson. Deloza and Johnson continue moving until they’re outside of the frame while the third man, which police believe to be Espana, remains on camera.
