It’s been said that in-state recruiting is the lifeblood of most college football programs.
If that’s indeed the case, then the Utah State Aggies’ 2016 recruiting class is trending in the right direction after the commitments of Sky View tight end Bryce Mortenson and Woods Cross safety Braxton Gunther over the last 12 days. The duo joins Logan receiver Hartman Rector as players from the Beehive State to commit to the Cache Valley school for this recruiting class.
In Mortenson’s case, joining the Aggies is the realization of a lifelong dream, as he’s lived around the corner from Maverik Stadium since he was 4 years old.
