Poll: Utahns say Orrin Hatch shouldn’t run again, but Mitt Romney should

New polls show 3 of 4 Utahns want Orrin Hatch to retire. A plurality favors Mitt Romney as his replacement

Source: Dan Jones & Associates talked to 605 registered voters from Oct. 10-13. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 3.98 percentage points.

The survey shows that 75 percent of voters said Hatch — the 83-year-old Republican who was first elected 41 years ago — should retire, including 56 percent who said he “definitely should not” run again.
