According to Salt Lake City police Detective Greg Wilking, officers were called to the Gateway Inn, 819 W. North Temple, at 8:41 a.m. The caller reported a “person down in a room.”
Police found a woman’s body, and evidence at the scene “suggests it’s suspicious,” Wilking said. “It doesn’t look like an overdose. It looks like more than that.”
