No. 7 BYU Women’s soccer finished it’s Kansas trip with two wins Saturday night, beating Kansas State in Manhattan, KS 5-0.
The Cougars were dominant from the start, and opened the scoring in the fifth minute. Cameron Tucker received the ball in the center of the Wildcat defensive third and pushed the ball onto her right foot, ahooting the ball from outside the penalty area and sneaking it past K-State goalkeeper Emma Malsy.
The pressure was relentless from the Cougars, but they were unable to score again in the half.
The second half was again dominated by the Cougars, but with goals to show for it this time.
