Sixth-ranked BYU women’s soccer scored six on Pacific on Saturday night, recording their first conference shutout in the 6-0 win.
The Cougars didn’t take long to get on the board, scoring their opener in the third minute. It is the second time in the last two games that BYU has scored in the first five minutes. A pass from defender Rachel Bingham found Mikayla Colohan in the six yard box, and Colohan coolly slotted the ball into the net.
It wouldn’t be til the 31st minute that the Cougars would find their second, but the wait was worth it.
