Freshman Arissa Paulson hurled BYU softball to a 4-0 shutout victory over the SUU Thunderbirds.
The Cougars are now 32-10 overall and 6-0 in the West Coast Conference. They also own an impressive 11-game winning streak.
“Arissa Paulson threw a tremendous game and our defense was great behind her,” BYU softball head coach Gordon Eakin said in a press release. “We had to grind it out tonight. It was a tough and gutsy win.”
BYU softball jumped on the Thunderbirds early. Lexi Tarrow singled in the bottom of the third, Lauren Bell walked and power hitting Libby Sugg was hit by a pitch.
