BYU Women’s Volleyball, the No. 1 team in the nation, swept rival No. 24 Utah in front of a record crowd on Thursday night.
And they did it in dominating fashion, winning 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.
The Cougars got off to a slow start in the first set, trailing Utah by as much as three midway through the set at 14-11, before BYU went on a 7-1 run to take a three-point lead of their own. The Utes never could pull even from there, as the Cougars won the set by five.
There was no slow start for BYU in the next set.
