INDIANAPOLIS — Given the circuitous route that Devontae Booker traveled to reach the NFL scouting combine, the Utah running back isn’t going to let a knee injury prevent him from achieving his dream.
Among the top players at his position in this year’s NFL draft, Booker rushed for 1,512 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2014 and 1,261 yards and 11 TDs in 2015. In the process, he became just the second rusher in school history to record back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
