It's been an eventful few days for former BYU running back Paul Lasike, both good and bad.
The good news: First came the birth of his daughter Wednesday, on the heels of surviving a first round of NFL cuts. Then came his first professional touchdown for the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.
Now for the bad news, as the NFL rookie has been released by the organization one day after his first professional score. ESPN's Josina Anderson first reported Friday that Lasike is cut, and BYU SportsNation's Jarom Jordan later confirmed the news.
