According to a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson, former BYU running back Paul Lasike will be cut by the Arizona Cardinals.
It's expected several other Utah ties will be waived as Saturday's 2 p.m. MDT deadline approaches for NFL teams to reduce their rosters to 53 active players.
Lasike joined the organization as a rookie undrafted free agent in May, and in Thursday's preseason finale against Denver, the former rugby player scored on a 4-yard touchdown catch.
Lasike earned praise in Cardinals training camp for his hard hitting.
