The Bruins will face the winner of Thursday's other MPSF semifinal, between BYU and UC Santa Barbara, in Saturday's championship match. The Cougars and Gauchos face off at 7:30 p.m. MDT at the Smith Fieldhouse. The match is being broadcast on BYUtv.

Long Beach State had the opportunity to take the first set, leading 24-23 after a kill from Dan Glamack. But UCLA scored the final three points of the set, capped by a block from Oliver Martin and Hagen Smith.
