Former BYU football player Ziggy Ansah can add another honor to his Pro Bowl-caliber season.

In addition to making his first all-star game, Ansah was honored Tuesday by his Detroit Lions teammates with the Lem Barney Defensive MVP Award.

As noted on the Lions' website, Ansah's 14.5 sacks are second-most in team history for a season, he is the first Lion to reach 30.
