The men’s college basketball season hasn’t wrapped up yet, with the Final Four set for next weekend, but the coaching carousel is already in full swing.
This year, the coaching job market includes BYU, after Dave Rose retired last Tuesday following 14 years as the Cougars’ head coach.
Sports Illustrated’s Laken Litman listed BYU as the No. 8 most desirable open job in the country over the weekend, even as some jobs are being filled.
“(Rose) finished his career as the winningest coach in program history. The highlight of that tenure was certainly the Jimmer Fredette era, and Rose’s legacy will be a tough one to follow,” Litman wrote.
