Jason Swensen of the Church News reported that Niumatalolo was called as stake president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's Annapolis Maryland stake last Sunday.
Previously, Niumatalolo served in the bishopric and as a high councilor in the same stake, and was serving as the second counselor in the Washington, D.C. North Mission when he received the call.
“One of the miracles of the restored gospel is that two Seventies can come into a stake without knowing anyone and, after a series of very short interviews, can receive revelation as to who the Lord has chosen to lead that stake," Elder Kevin S.
