In a letter to the editor on The Gonzaga Bulletin, student Joseph Harshbarger called out the some of the fans in the student section for how they acted in the game against BYU.
He wrote, "We lost in more ways than one Saturday night. Not only was BYU’s final score higher than the Zags’, but some students showed an ugly, hidden side of the Gonzaga student body that includes using religion as a means of criticism."
After he talked about some of the things that the students did, he continued, "Our country is facing a period of religious intolerance.
