SALT LAKE CITY — A pair of media outlets used a film session to scout former BYU linebacker Sione Takitaki, a third-round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns in last month's NFL draft, and get to know the rookie pass rusher better.
There was a consensus: Takitaki is physical.
"The tape that I saw of (the) 6-foot-1, 238-pounder was impressive in terms of sheer effort. He ran well from sideline-to-sideline, a key skill for a linebacker. He obviously enjoyed contact," wrote The Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto.
Browns team writer Nick Shook is analyzing every one of the Browns' draft picks, and in regards to Takitaki, he said the 'backer should easily find a home in defensive coordinator Steve Wilks' system, which utilizes interchangeable linebackers.
