Twitter went crazy during the BYU-Boise State game Saturday night after footage showed Cougars' offensive lineman Ului Lapuaho punch Broncos' defensive back Chanceller James in the groin.
The incident continued a trend of questionable on-field conduct from BYU players dating back to the brawl at the end of last season's Miami Beach Bowl, a string of behavior that has gotten the attention of the Washington Post's Des Bieler.
"Everyone at BYU is supposed to follow the school’s Honor Code, which includes a directive to 'respect others,' Bieler wrote. "It’s hard to find much honor in Lapuaho’s act.
