‘Mormon Land’: Researcher Jana Riess discusses survey that reveals why LDS young people leave, why they stay and how they differ

As in other denominations, the LDS Church is seeing vast numbers of its young people leave the faith. At the same time, the Mormon millennials who stay are more religious than ever. Why is that? And what can The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do to keep its young people in the fold?

Writer-researcher Jana Riess tackles those questions and more after completing a massive multigenerational survey of Mormons and former Mormons. She shares and discusses many of her findings in the latest edition of “Mormon Land.”
