FRESNO, California — Trying to a claim a road victory for the first time in almost one year, BYU put itself in position to beat Fresno State Saturday night.
But Cougar quarterback Tanner Mangum went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in the fourth quarter, and BYU came up short as FSU earned a 20-13 victory at Bulldog Stadium.
Mangum's season-ending Achilles injury happened with 10:27 left in the game.
