A dead man whose body was found in Big Cottonwood Regional Park, naked except for a diamond ring, has been identified by Unified police, FOX13 reported.
Police have not yet made public the man’s identity, pending notification of his family.
The Salt Lake Tribune previously reported that the man’s body was found in the park in Millcreek. The body was naked, and the only identifying item was a gold ring with a square design and an inset diamond.
A man walking on a trail near the park discovered the body Wednesday morning while chasing his dog into a grove of trees.
