Man arrested in Provo after threatening to kill women because he’d never had a girlfriend

A 27-year-old man was arrested in Provo on Saturday after police said he made threats toward women.

FOX 13 reports that according to court documents released by the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, police in Colorado contacted dispatch officials with the Provo Police Department early on Saturday. Colorado police told Provo that Christopher Wayne Cleary, 27, had been making threats on Facebook, saying he was going to “kill as many girls as I see.”

Provo police said a post on Cleary’s Facebook said he was “planning on shooting up a public place soon and being the next mass shooter” because he was a virgin and had never had a girlfriend, and he would “make it right by killing as many girls as I see.
