PROVO — For the first time during the COVID-19-impacted 2020 college football season, No. 22 BYU is playing in back-to-back weeks.
One week after blitzing Troy, the Cougars host Louisiana Tech on Friday night (7 p.m. MDT, ESPN2) at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
Both BYU and the Bulldogs come into the primetime contest with matching 2-0 records. The Cougars topped Navy and Troy by a combined 103-10, while Louisiana Tech edged Southern Miss in its opener before besting Football Championship Subdivision foe Houston Baptist 66-38 last week.
