Letter: Stop the saber-rattling and work for peace with North Korea

The Olympics are beginning in South Korea and it is a time when the world comes together peacefully. North Korea and South Korea have combined their teams for the opening ceremony and the women’s ice hockey team. Unfortunately, President Trump has sent Vice President Mike Pence to the Olympics to be a counterpoint to all the good things happening between South Korea and North Korea. Recently Pence announced drastic new sanctions against North Korea.

As President Trump beats the war drums, I encourage our Utah congressional delegation to raise their voices and take back their constitutional responsibility to declare war.
