Late night car crash leaves three teenagers dead in Sanpete County

According to FOX 13 who spoke with Utah Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was on Power Plant road when a car rammed into the back of it at high speed. After the collision, the car caught on fire. An EMT on the scene within minutes was able to pull the car’s passengers out before they were burned.

The driver of the car survived but the three passengers were killed. All four were between the ages 16 and 18. According to troopers, none of the teens who were killed were wearing seatbelts. The two people in the truck survived the accident.
