Two former BYU Basketball standouts are trying to make their mark in the NBA Summer League, and neither has done much to set themselves apart.
On Monday, Kyle Collinsworth and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors 91-71 in their third game of the summer league.
Collinsworth got 19 minutes of playing time, the most he’s played in any of the games so far. He scored 2 points on two made free throws, missing his three field goal opportunities. He added 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal.
More importantly, the Mavericks outscored the Warriors by 15 points while Collinsworth was on the court.
