Jimmer Fredette put on a scoring display of epic proportions, but it wasn't enough to push the Shanghai Sharks over the top on the road as they fell to the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 135-132 in the Chinese Basketball Association's regular season finale.
Fredette set a new career-high with 73 points on 25 for 49 shooting from the floor, including 10 for 18 from 3-point range and a perfect 13 for 13 from the foul line. He also added four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 54:05 in the double overtime thriller.
After scoring 51 points in regulation, Fredette caught fire in the overtime sessions as he scored the last 22 points of the game for the Sharks.
