The Real Monarchs celebrated their first-ever United Soccer League Championship title on Wednesday with a parade in Herriman.
The celebration included a player meet-and-greet with fans at J. Lynn Crane Park, around which the entire team and members of the front office celebrated their championship.
There was also some news: the Monarchs announced that Jamison Olave, who has served two different stints as the team’s interim head coach and led Real to a championship in his second opportunity, was named the permanent coach on Wednesday.
The Monarchs beat the Eastern Conference champion Louisville City 3-1 to win the trophy.
