For the first time in more than two decades, there won’t be a Gephardt at KUTV-Channel 2. Matt Gephardt, of “Get Gephardt” fame, is leaving the station at the end of the year.
“I’m leaving happy,” Gephardt said. “I’m proud of my time at Channel 2. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done. I’m proud of the work I did behind the scenes for the decade before that.”
Matt Gephardt followed in the footsteps of his father, Bill Gephardt, who signed on to KUTV in 1997 and launched the popular “Get Gephardt” feature, helping viewers solve consumer problems and investigating products and companies.
