Fred Warner projected as a 2nd-round NFL pick; BYU football ranked No. 92; Jim McMahon runs for charity

Mock drafts for the NFL draft are coming out en force with Super Bowl LII in the rearview mirror.

BYU’s top prospect this year to be selected in the draft is linebacker Fred Warner, and one writer has him going in the draft’s first two rounds.

SB Nation’s Dan Kadar released a two-round mock draft Monday morning, and he has Warner going to the New England Patriots with the No. 63 pick. In that scenario, Warner would join fellow ex-BYU linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Harvey Langi in New England.

That is a higher projection that anyone else has Warner, who is seen more as a mid- to late-round prospect by most media outlets.
