DETROIT — When the Detroit Lions drafted Kyle Van Noy in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft, much was made of the reunion with his former BYU teammate Ezekiel Ansah, who was taken in the first round by the Lions the previous season.
But due to injuries, Van Noy and Ansah haven’t been on the field together as much as everyone thought they would be.
In the Lions' 24-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday, Van Noy started his fifth game of the season, while Ansah missed his third straight game with a high ankle sprain.
