EAST LANSING, Mich. — It’s been a few years since Kyle Van Noy played outside linebacker at BYU, but he’s still passionate and outspoken about his alma mater.
The former Cougar now starts at inside linebacker for the Detroit Lions — who host the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday — and the Deseret News caught up with him Friday after practice at Allen Park.
Van Noy said Friday he would try to watch “glimpses” of Saturday’s BYU-Michigan State game. The Cougars won, 31-14.
“During the day, it’s a little tough because I’m getting ready for my game,” he explained.
