Former BYU quarterback Jake Heaps is getting another shot in the NFL. Heaps, who played for the Cougars from 2010-11, signed a free-agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 208-pounder grew up in Sammamish, Washington, and signed a Letter of Intent with BYU as a five-star recruit in 2010. But after two years with the Cougars, he transferred to Kansas, then Miami before finishing his college career in 2014.
