Former BYU Cougars safety Daniel Sorensen had a great one-handed interception on Monday, picking off Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen to seal the Kansas City Chiefs’ 26-17 win against Buffalo.
With just 1:20 left in the game, Sorensen extinguished any hope of a Bills comeback as the Chiefs bounced back from a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and improved to 5-1.
On second-and-12 from the Chiefs’ 20-yard line, Allen dropped back to pass and — pressured by Taco Charlton — underthrew his receiver. Sorensen was there to make his first interception of the season with a SportsCenter-worthy one-handed snag to finish the game off for Kansas City.
