After losing two 2018 recruits to Utah last week in OL Jaren Kump and DL David Fotu, BYU lost a member of its 2015 class.
Mika Tafua, a consensus 4-star linebacker and one of the top recruits of BYU’s 2015 class, looks like he will be heading to Utah. Tafua returned from his LDS mission in late September.
Ikei Sports Hawaii, where Tafua appears to train in his home state, first reported the news on its Instagram page:
There are many reasons for why players change their commitments, but BYU’s lackluster 1-5 start no doubt is playing at least some role.
