A flood warning remains in effect in northeast Utah for the Duchesne River through early next week due to rapid snowmelt in the mountains.
The National Weather Service said Friday flooding has been reported in the Myton area of Duchesne County and the remainder of the river is running near flood stage.
It says lowland areas along the river will be impacted by flood waters from Hanna downstream to Myton. It says some roads, bridges and infrastructure upstream from there also could be affected.
