Figure skaters, Provo city and Millie's Princess Foundation join forces for show that aims to support, raise money for 4-year-old cancer patient

BYU coach and former U.S. figure skating champion Brianna Hatch coaches a young student in Provo. She created the Skate for Cancer events to aid families battling cancer and raise awareness about the hardships that accompany a diagnosis.

This Friday night at 7 p.m. at Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, local skaters, businesses and a foundation will join forces for a free figure skating show and fundraising event that will benefit a 4-year-old cancer patient.

“I think I enjoy this kind of event more because I can feel the support and the love. Cancer is such a hard thing to fight and just knowing that this little 4-year-old will be there, I’m just excited to perform for her.
