The actor who played the grandfather on the made-in-Utah Disney Channel series “Andi Mack” has been charged with six felonies after he tried to set up a sexual encounter with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.
According to court documents, Westmoreland began chatting online with a detective who was posing as a 13-year-old, and “asked if he would come to his hotel room and engage in sexual activity.” The actor also sent three pictures of male genitalia and one of men having sex.
After being read his rights, Westmoreland “admitted to sending nude photos, and that the male who he was speaking with told him he was 13 years old.
