PROVO — A little more than one year ago, BYU and Southern Utah announced that the two schools would be meeting in football for the first time ever.
Ed Lamb played a key role in making that happen. But now he has mixed feelings about this matchup.
That’s because since that game was set up, Lamb left SUU as its head coach and became BYU’s assistant head coach.
When the game kicks off Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium, Lamb will be standing on the Cougar sideline, not the Thunderbird sideline.
Lamb said he was involved in scheduling this game “100 percent.
