West Wendover, Nev. • A driver who led police on a short pursuit Saturday in West Wendover was killed by an officer when he pulled a knife after crashing the vehicle.
The chase started about 12:45 p.m., when West Wendover officers tried to pull over a reckless driver on Wendover Boulevard in the city, FOX 13 reports. The driver fled police, but crashed near a gas station and tried to run away. Officers followed, and shot the man when he pulled a knife.
